Tough and Tender

I really love this photo. It captures so many things about China and about what I notice, revealing things about both of us.

I have been staring at the computer screen for ten minutes, trying to choose the right words to explain why I love it.

I realize something.

It doesn't need any explanation.

    That's a great photo Dana. You're right. I think it's cuz it captures affection, which is a universal topic we all adore. I have that picture of the green horse on my wall, and I don't really like horses, and I can't really figure out why I like it. I think it's cuz the girl is hugging the horse.
